Julia A. Pucci, managing partner with Pucci Pirtle, focuses her practice in the areas of divorce and custody litigation. Ms. Pucci attended Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois where she received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Sociology and Political Science. Ms. Pucci subsequently earned her Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri.

Julie M. Pirtle has been a partner at Pucci Pirtle since our formation in April of 2013. Ms. Pirtle began her career as an attorney at Schwarz & Pucci, LLC with Attorney Julia Pucci. She concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, including divorce and custody matters, and residential real estate transactions. Ms. Pirtle graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois College of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Northern Illinois University.

Thomas B. Spencer, IV

Thomas B. Spencer, IV earned his Bachelor of Arts from Truman State University in 2002 and graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois College of Law in 2006. He then began his career practicing law as a prosecutor for several cities and villages in McHenry County, Illinois. Since leaving prosecution in 2008, he has concentrated his practice in the areas of criminal defense and family matters, including divorce, custody, and domestic violence matters.

Born in Elgin, Illinois, Shawna joined our staff in 2016. She graduated from Central High School in Burlington, Illinois, in 2006. After high school, Shawna began working as a legal assistant and went on to receive her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, Paralegal, in 2010 from Elgin Community College. She has experience handling divorce, custody, domestic violence, real estate, criminal defense, business and estate planning cases.

Anna Forman began her legal career in 2010 working in residential and commercial real estate, foreclosure, and collections. She joined Pucci Pirtle in 2016, and primarily works with Attorney Julie M. Pirtle and Attorney Thomas B. Spencer, while also providing support to the other members of the firm and her clients.
